One of the most common disorders. It can affect everything a person does. How they sleep, eat, and move. It's all consuming and often can be accompanied by suicidal thoughts and tendencies; although this is not always the case. Some sufferers just have a constant feeling of sadness & despair; hopelessness and feelings of worthlessness.
Anxiety Disorder.
This is another common disorder found in teens, and adults, sometimes it starts younger. There is more than one type of Anxiety Disorder. Some of these include Generalized anxiety disorder, and panic disorder. PTSD and OCD fall into this category.
Eating Disorder.
Also another common one found here at Stone Hollow. There are those who don't eat a thing; or those who binge and purge; and sometimes both. Therefore an acceptable disorder of this category may fall under: anorexia, bulimia, or an ednos.
Bi-polar.
Can often be mistaken for a depressive disorder; Bi-polar has manic and depressive stages most the time. Extreme mood swings from happy to chronic sadness one minute. Can be aggressive/violent personalities but this is not always the case.
Addictions
Although this is not a disorder, or not listed as one this is also treated here. Drug abuse and alcohol addiction; and sometimes even 'sex addiction' will be found here. This is a very generalized category for the members of Stone Hollow.
DID
Dissociative Identity Disorder; otherwise previously known as multiple-personality. It is described as dissociation with reality; but is not to be confused with schizophrenia. People with DID have split personalities that need to be merged through therapy; although the function normally sometimes one of their personalities cause them to feel immense fear. Stone Hollow has a few well trained staff to help with this disorder.
Misc.
This category is for patients who have MORE than one disorder. Or perhaps is not listed yet. If you have a patient that fits this; then list them as Misc and detail what disorders afflict that patient.
